My Facebook timeline (you no longer call it wall after the facebook update) was filled with this spam video from many friends who clicked on the link on their timeline. The thumbnail posted along with the link on the timeline looks like a video and adding to it the most cleverest part the spammer did was adding the users name on the post in the timeline. This urges the user to further think the video was posted by his/her friend since it directly calls out their name and asks them to watch the video.
Though you may already be knowing that it was a spam after you clicked on the link, You still might be spamming your friends timeline every hour or so and many of my friends told they had no idea how it was happening. This post will help you to stop the spam post from being spread on your friend’s timeline.
If you see this posted by one of your friends on Facebook, rest assured that you aren’t going to see some busty starlet having a wardrobe malfunction on live TV! It’s a scam and once you click on it, you’ll be unwittingly posting it to your own Facebook page!
Once on the offending site, (There seem to be a number of different urls that this post leads to), a bubble will appear over the supposed video that everyone is just so crazy about. Here the visitor will be asked to verify their age to see the racy video. Once the verification button is clicked, it will post on the visitor’s Facebook page and lead to survey pages to be filled out.
Just say ‘NO!’ to this link! Do NOT click to see what your friend likes about this video! Click the ‘x’ to remove it from your page and send your friend a message letting them know that they’ve been had!
These types of scams and ‘clickjacking’ posts pop up from time to time on Facebook, catch a few unsuspecting ‘Facebookers.’ get outed after a short run and then reemerge in a different form in the future. If you know your friends and this seems to be unlike their normal posts, it most likely is! (Unfortunately, if you have a lot of friends that WOULD like a video of a buxom beauty popping out of her dress on live TV, then you might have a problem!)
